Small and perfectly formed – this range of designs has been taken from an antique printers reference book, dated 1880. While wondering around Sotheby’s Auction house viewing different books they had for sale in their next auction, we spotted this large battered book. Many people had flipped through the first few pages and walked away, we looked through the whole thing and low and behold after the first 10 pages of stripes and checks found it was full of the most beautiful designs. For this range we have chosen eastern, oriental inspired designs, and produced 3 different colour ways, all inspired by the contents of this wonderful reference book. We have also created one in squares so the card makers among you will not be disappointed. It just goes to show you should never judge a book by its cover……………
