Sweet Daisy May

5 designs and a panel, in dusky blues, moss green and pink. The panel is 24” and has 4 squares measuring 6” and 15 squares measuring 4”. There is also a floral stripe for trimming and a row of individual little girls to cut out and appliqué, included in this unusual panel. This range has a homely Victorian feel and is coloured up in old-fashioned pinks and blues on a dark cream ground, to harmonize together. The scenes in the squares are of a little girl called Daisy May, playing with her pet puppy in her garden and dreaming among the flowers in the sunshine. The 4 pretty all-over florals that co-ordinate with the panel, are inspired by antique fabric prints of daisies, which were discovered in an old printers sample book. There is also a stripe to match and these co-ordinates can be used with elements from the panel, all working together in a quilt.
