Atlantis is a legendary Island first mentioned by Plato in about 360 BC, he described it as a fabulous civilisation that mysteriously sank into the ocean one fateful day. It is steeped in legend and plays with our imagination as a mythical, magical place that still lies beneath the sea, lost in time and full of ancient splendour. This range created in the colours of the sea, with all its nuances of tone and texture, seems appropriately named after the fabled sunken city of Atlantis.We have brought together a wonderful waterfall of colour incorporating 13 designs teamed with 4 colours from our Perfect Palette range. From rich dark indigos and ultramarine, to royal blue and sky, we move on to turquoise and teal through viridian and softer aqua tones. As we travel through rich darks to paler subtle shades, we have contrasted tones and textures that all work beautifully together to use in one quilt.
