We have named this new range Tempting Tonals, as it is based around a group of 5 new designs in monochrome and monotone red, black and blue. An interesting monotone willow pattern has been included in this range, inspired by the original Wedgewood decoration created in black and blue. One of the other small leaf designs has been printed in positive and negative, in order to achieve subtle contrasts in depth of tone and texture when used alongside the other patterns. A classic monochrome small trailing rose and stylised lotus design, taken from ancient Chinese ceramics, completes this range. Sally Ablette has designed a beautiful quilt for you to make from Tempting Tonals and we have shown it in all three colourways.
